Most frequent questions and answers

Dress Code

  • While we encourage creativity and freedom in fashion, we ask that your attire be appropriate for the session. Management reserves the right to refuse entry for inappropriate clothing.
  • Socks are required for all people renting skates.
  • All pants must be worn on the waistline.
  • No clothing with profanity or R-rated material.
  • No swimwear or undergarments

Skate floor rules

  • No fast skating (unless during a fast skate session).
  • No tag playing or chasing is allowed at any time.

  • All skaters must keep moving while out on the floor. No stopping along the walls at any time.

  • All skaters must skate in the regular skating direction (unless during an opposite skate session).

  • No more than two people can hold hands at one time. No trains allowed (unless during rhythm skating session).

  • Children may not be carried by someone wearing skates.

  • No food or drinks are allowed on the skating floor.

  • Fast skaters are to skate on the outside of the floor, slower skaters are to skate on the inside of the floor.

  • No handbags, purses, or backpacks are allowed on the skate floor. Lockers are available for rent to keep your personal items safe.
  • All accidents must be reported to the front desk.

Skate Rules

  • We do not allow outside food or drinks inside the building.
  • No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the premises.
  • No gum chewing is allowed; this is for the protection of our skate floor.
  • No tobacco products are to be used inside the building these include chewing tobacco, cigarettes, and vapes.
  • Skate Reflections is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Skate Reflections will hold all found items in lost and found for one week.
  • We allow skaters of all ages to enter the building, parents are encouraged to stay and will not be charged entry to spectate.(Wednesday, pizza night all entries are expected to pay). We do expect unaccompanied minors to be on their best behavior, or parents will be called to pick up their children.
  • Come to skate and have a good time.

Payment Questions

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • Cash, Apple Pay, and All Major Credit Cards.
  • Do you have an ATM?
    • Yes.
  • Can I pay with a check?
    • Sorry, we do not accept personal checks.

Rental Skates Questions

  • What size skates do you rent? 
    • Regular rental skates from juvenile size 9 to adult size 14. Quad speed skates from Child 2 – Adult 13.
  • Can I bring my own skates?
    • Yes, we allow all kinds of regular roller skates and inline skates.
  • Can I skate in my Heelys?
    • Sorry no, because Heelys do not have wheels in the front and back and are not intended for “roller skating” they are not permitted.
  • Do you sell skates and equipment?
    • Yes! You can visit our pro-shop

Roller Skating Questions

  • What goes on at a public skating session? 
    • Most sessions are set up with a variety of special skates:
      • All-Skate, Backwards, Couples.
  • If my child doesn’t skate well, can I walk on the floor to assist him/her?
    • During public skating sessions, we only allow guests with skates to enter the skating floor. 
  • Where can I get lessons for my child? 
    • Right here at Skate Reflections. Classes are available as well as private instruction.

Parties and Food Questions

  • Can I bring in food from the outside?
    • The only outside food/drinks we allow during our open skating session is a birthday cake if you have a reserved party package. No other outside food is also allowed.

  • Do you sell Gift Certificates?
    • Yes, they can be purchased anytime the office is open or during public skate sessions
